What is a Grade Calculator?
A Grade Calculator computes your weighted average grade based on multiple assignments, tests, quizzes, and exams. Each item has a grade (percentage, letter, or points) and a weight representing its contribution to your final grade. The calculator multiplies each grade by its weight and divides by the total weight to produce an accurate weighted average.
How to Use This Calculator

- Click + Add Row to add more assignments (up to 30).

Frequently Asked Questions
How do I calculate my weighted average grade? ▼
Enter each assignment's grade and its weight (percentage of total grade). The calculator multiplies each grade by its weight, sums them up, and divides by the total weight to get your weighted average.
What's the difference between percentage, letter, and points? ▼
Percentage mode uses numeric grades like 85%. Letter mode uses A, B+, C-, etc. (converted to standard percentages). Points mode is for raw scores that will be weighted by percentage.
Do the weights need to add up to 100%? ▼
No. The calculator computes a weighted average based on whatever weights you enter. If your weights don't add to 100%, you can use the Final Grade Planning feature to see what you need on remaining work.
